Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition from Acadia University and completed her Dietetic Internship at Annapolis Valley District Health Authority (Valley Regional Hospital, Middleton Memorial Hospital, Eastern and Western Kings Memorial Community Health Centers) in Nova Scotia, Canada. She also holds a Sports Dietitian Certificate from the Australian Institute of Sports, Australia; Culinary Medicine Certificate from the Harvard Medical School, USA; a Diabetes Educator Graduate Certificate from The Michener Institute at University Health Network (UHN) for Applied Health Sciences- Toronto, Canada and a Food Chemistry Certificate from Christ University, India.
Has worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Cambridge Memorial Hospital specialising in Critical Care, Surgery, Medicine, Oncology and Palliative Care.
Delivers presentations and has given speeches at Health Fairs and Multicultural Food Festivals.
Been interviewed in Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC News) The National prime time, Asian Television Network (ATN), Global news and PTC Punjabi sharing her expertise with the community. She has also been interviewed RadioONE, Radio Mauritius and MBC (Mauritius Broadcasting Coorporation)

Vandana has international dietary counselling experience with her ability to speak English, Hindi, French and Creole very fluently and has been involved in health initiatives in various countries especially in Canada and Mauritius. She has consulted Executive clients and Celebrities in one of Canada's largest private medical clinic in downtown Toronto for over 10 years. Also, in her private practice, she works extensively with the South Asian population.
In addition to General Health Optimisation, Vandana specializes in cholesterol management (heart health), blood glucose management, vegetarianism, preconception (fertility) nutrition and pregnancy nutrition, high blood pressure, cancer, weight loss and weight gain and sports nutrition.
She is available for one on one sessions, group classes and workshops.
Vandana is committed to promoting healthy practices and assisting individuals to reach their optimum health. Vandana also practices Yoga as a Certified Yoga Instructor.
